Set Up OTP Authentication

Last update:2026-07-10 16:34:04

OTP authentication adds an extra layer of security to your account by requiring a time-sensitive verification code during login. This multi-factor authentication method significantly improves account security.

When OTP authentication is enabled, you must enter both your regular login credentials and a verification code generated by an authenticator app on your mobile device during the login process.

Navigate to Account Management > Security Setting > OTP Authentication.

Enabling OTP Authentication

  1. Go to the Security Setting page.
  2. Click Bound in Bind TOTP Authentication.
  3. Follow the on-screen instructions to set up authentication on your mobile device.
  4. Install an OTP authenticator app on your mobile phone, such as Google Authenticator or FreeOTP.
  5. Using the app, do one of the following:
    • Scan the QR code displayed on the screen.
    • Manually enter the account and key information.
  6. Enter the 6-digit authentication code generated by the app.
  7. Click Enable to complete the setup.

Note: The authentication code is a 6-digit number that refreshes every 30 seconds.

Disabling OTP Authentication

  1. On the Security Setting page, click Change to disable OTP authentication.
  2. Enter the current OTP authentication code from your authenticator app.
  3. After OTP authentication is disabled, you will no longer need to enter an OTP code when logging in to the Atomile Console.
