Atomile provides Top Ranking data across multiple dimensions to give you insights from different perspectives. These dimensions include Domain, Visitor, URL, Directory, and Referrer.

How to Access Top Ranking

1. Log in to the Atomile Console and select the corresponding product.
2. Click Statistical Analysis > Top Ranking. You will see five tabs: Domain, Visitor (IP) by ISP, URL, Directory, and Referrer. Select the tab you want to view.
3. Filter by query time range and domain, and then click Query to view the corresponding Top Ranking list.
4. The ranking table displays the top 10 entries by default. Click the button in the upper-right corner to view more rankings in the console.
5. Click to export detailed data to your local device.

Each tab displays Top Ranking data from a different dimension. See the detailed descriptions below.

Domain

The Atomile Console provides the following sub-tabs for Top Ranking by domain.

Peak Bandwidth

Top domains ranked by peak bandwidth.

• You can view the peak bandwidth, peak time, traffic, and requests for the top domains.
• Click Top URL to view the top URLs for a domain.
• Click Top Visitor to view the top visitor IPs for that domain.

Peak Bandwidth Saving Ratio

Top domains ranked by peak bandwidth saving ratio.

• What is bandwidth saving ratio? Without a CDN, every end-user request is sent to the origin server, consuming origin bandwidth. With a CDN, cached files can be served directly without returning to the origin, which saves bandwidth on the customer’s origin server.
  Bandwidth Saving Ratio = (Total Traffic - Back-to-Origin Traffic) / Total Traffic
  where Total Traffic = Edge Traffic.
• You can view the peak and average bandwidth saving ratios for the top domains.

Peak Hit Ratio

Top domains ranked by peak hit ratio.

• What is hit ratio? Without a CDN, every end-user request is sent to the origin server. With a CDN, cached files can be served directly without returning to the origin. This is called a cache hit.
  Hit Ratio = CDN Hit Requests / Total Edge Requests
• You can view the peak and average hit ratios for the top domains.

Visitor (IP) by ISP

The Atomile Console provides the following sub-tabs for Top Ranking by visitor IP.

Edge Requests

Top visitor IPs ranked by edge requests.

You can view the top visitor IPs, their regions, request counts, and traffic.

Back-to-Origin Requests

Top visitor IPs ranked by back-to-origin requests.

You can view the top visitor IPs, their countries, request counts, and traffic.

URL

The Atomile Console provides the following sub-tabs for Top Ranking by URL.

Total Traffic

Top URLs ranked by total traffic.

• You can view the traffic and requests for the top URLs.
• You can filter top URLs by specifying URL types.

Successful Requests

Top URLs ranked by the number of successful requests.

• Successful Requests: Requests with status codes in the range [100, 399] are counted as successful requests.
• You can view the number of successful requests and the corresponding traffic for the top URLs.

Failed Requests

Top URLs ranked by the number of failed requests.

• Failed Requests: Requests with status codes outside the range [100, 399] are counted as failed requests.
• You can view the number of failed requests, successful requests, and the traffic corresponding to the successful requests for the top URLs.

Back-to-Origin Traffic

Top back-to-origin URLs ranked by back-to-origin traffic.

You can view the back-to-origin traffic for the top back-to-origin URLs.

Back-to-Origin Requests

Top back-to-origin URLs ranked by back-to-origin request count.

You can view the back-to-origin request counts for the top back-to-origin URLs.

Directory

The Atomile Console provides the following sub-tabs for Top Ranking by directory.

Total Traffic

Top directories ranked by total traffic.

You can view the traffic and requests for the top directories.

Successful Requests

Top directories ranked by successful request count.

• Successful Requests: Requests with status codes in the range [100, 399] are counted as successful requests.
• You can view the number of successful requests and the corresponding traffic for the top directories.

Failed Requests

Top directories ranked by failed request count.

• Failed Requests: Requests with status codes outside the range [100, 399] are counted as failed requests.
• You can view the number of failed requests, successful requests, and the traffic corresponding to the successful requests for the top directories.

Referrer

Top referrer websites ranked by request count.

• You can view the requests and traffic for the top referrer websites.
• Click the target URL to view the Top 200 URL list for that referrer website, sorted by request count.
