Batch Modify Origin allows you to update basic and advanced origin configurations for multiple domains at the same time.
This feature supports modifying:
If both Batch Edit Origin and Batch Edit Advanced Origin are selected, both basic and advanced origin configurations are modified.
You can batch modify IPs/Hostname or Object Storage. For details, refer to Set Origins.
You can batch modify Back-to-Origin Request HOST and Back-to-Origin Request Port. For details, refer to Set Origins.
Because batch origin modification is a high-risk operation, ensure that the origin servers are available before deployment. Configure the detection URL in the back-to-origin detection settings, and click Detection to verify origin server availability.
After you complete the configuration, click OK, and then click Next to submit your settings. To minimize potential disruption to your production environment, we strongly recommend performing a Pre-deploy test in a staging environment. This important step helps ensure that your configuration is correct before it goes live.
After you confirm that the settings are correct, click Deploy Now to apply them to the live environment. The configuration typically takes effect within 3 to 5 minutes. For more information about pre-deployment testing and configuration validation, refer to Deploy the Configurations to Staging Environment for Validation.
There are two modes for Advanced Origin: Intelligent Back-to-Origin Detection and Weighted Back-to-Origin. If the selected domains use different advanced origin modes during batch modification, batch configuration cannot be performed. In this case, configure the domains individually or contact Atomile technical support.
