Before adding a new domain, make sure the service for the corresponding product has been activated. If the service has not yet been activated, please contact Atomile technical support for assistance.

Once the service is enabled, follow the steps below to add a new domain.

1. Log In to the Console

After receiving notification from Atomile that your service has been activated, you can:

1. Log in to the Atomile Console and select the appropriate product.
2. Go to Configuration and click Add New Domain.

2. Configure Domain Information

Contract Item
Select the product and contract associated with the new domain. After the domain is added, it is automatically assigned to the corresponding contract control group.

Domain Type
Select Domain or Domain Alias. A domain alias is an alternate name for a domain, typically used to point multiple domains to the same network service or website.

Customized Control Group
A customized control group is a collection of selected domains. By choosing a customized control group, the newly added domain is included in that collection. Domains in the same control group can be managed together, and their analytics data can be viewed by control group.

Domain

• Acceleration domains generally use subdomains or wildcard domains. For example, *.atomile.com is a wildcard domain, while console.atomile.com and www.atomile.com are its subdomains or second-level domains, and cdn.console.atomile.com is a third-level domain.
• If you need to add a wildcard domain, enter it in the format *.atomile.com, for example. After a wildcard domain is created, Atomile provides acceleration services by default for second-level subdomains under the wildcard domain, but not for third-level subdomains, which must be added separately.
• Wildcard domains and subdomains must be added under the same account.

Back-to-Origin IP/Domain

• Own Origin: Enter either an IP address or a domain name.
  • Back-to-Origin IP: You can enter up to 64 IP addresses, separated by ;. Both IPv4 and IPv6 are supported.
  • Back-to-Origin Domain: Only one domain name can be configured.
• WCS Origin: If you use Atomile Object Storage as the origin, you can select WCS Origin directly.

Operation

• Delete: Remove the corresponding domain configuration.
• Back-to-Origin Detection: Enter a URL to verify origin availability. This test runs only once when you click Detect and is not performed periodically.
• Add: Add a new domain configuration.
• Batch Add: Add multiple domains in bulk with the same back-to-origin IP or domain.

Up to 300 domains can be added at one time, separated by line breaks. Multiple back-to-origin IPs can be entered, separated by ;.

Acceleration Configuration

• Copy settings from an existing domain: Select an existing domain as a reference and apply its configuration to the new domain.
• Customized settings: You can configure cache rules here, or configure them later after the new domain is submitted and approved.

Tips:
These settings cannot be copied from an existing domain to a new domain: Basic Origin, Advanced Origin, Back-to-Origin Request Host, Back-to-Origin Request Port, and Forward Client IP.
After selecting a domain, you can view its current configuration. This view displays only general console configurations. For special configurations completed by technical support, please contact technical support.

3. Submit the Configuration

After you complete the settings, click Submit to submit the configuration.

Tips: If the status of the newly added domain remains Reviewing for more than 5 minutes after submission, it may be due to one of the following reasons. Please contact technical support for assistance.

• The domain has special configurations that cannot be audited automatically.
• The main domain of the new domain already exists under another customer account, causing a domain conflict.
• There is a configuration conflict between the new domain and the referenced domain.

4. Deploy to Production

After the configuration review is approved, the platform distributes the domain configuration to the production nodes and applies it within 1 to 2 minutes. The platform also sends an email notification to confirm that the new domain has been added successfully. You can also check the progress of domain onboarding in Console > Configuration. A status of Enabled indicates that the domain has been added successfully.

After the deployment takes effect, the system assigns a corresponding CNAME address. You must then complete the CNAME configuration for the acceleration service to take effect. For details, refer to Configure the CNAME Record.
